PULSE

Pulse

Instrument: NQ/MNQ Data Series: 1 Minute

Pulse is a structured intraday strategy designed to trade NQ or MNQ on a 1 minute chart. Unlike the single trade per day bots, Pulse can take multiple trades based on its probability model and signal filters.

It is built to capture short term momentum moves using fixed internal logic settings. The core signal parameters should not be changed. The main adjustments allowed are:

  • Contracts

  • Session start time

  • Session end time

  • Max trades

  • Profit cap

  • Loss limit

Technically, Pulse can be traded during:

  • New York session

  • London session

  • Or any custom time window

You can edit the start time and end time directly in the settings to match your preferred session.

That said, Jay’s personal preference is to focus on a tighter window. He typically looks to take 1 to 2 quality trades between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM Eastern. This window often provides cleaner movement after the early morning volatility settles.

Pulse is best used with discipline. Just because it can trade all day does not mean it should. Controlled trade windows and proper position sizing produce more consistent behavior than running it nonstop.

As always, simulation testing is strongly recommended before increasing size.
